Avoid unless picking up in person
Initially impressed by Melbourne Timber Supplies' prices, but unfortunately, the delivered product fell far short of expectations.The treated pine timber appeared to be leftover stock or otherwise undesirable pieces with defects I wouldn't have accepted if I had picked them myself. Even worse was the spotted gum decking with an excessive amount of very short and unusable pieces. Their response was dismissive. They claimed I never specified lengths for the decking and that since they don't cut the wood themselves, they have no control over what is in a pack. They also stated they don't even open the pack to inspect it before sending it out.Disappointingly, Melbourne Timber Supplies refuses to acknowledge the issue or offer any kind of compensation for the significant amount of unusable wood.
