Shiloh Within Counselling is dedicated to transforming relationships and fostering personal growth. My passion lies in supporting individuals and couples navigating various challenges, including youth struggling with academic and social pressures, parents seeking stronger connections with their children, couples facing difficulties, and those recovering from challenging relationships. I aim to empower you to rediscover yourself and build healthier connections.

My counselling style is warm, compassionate, and insightful, using humour appropriately to create a supportive and personalized experience. Sessions are tailored to your unique journey, ensuring you feel heard and valued. I utilize a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping), Gottman Couple Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Positive Psychology. I am a qualified counsellor registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), bringing extensive experience in areas such as:

Private health rebates may be applicable for both services. Funded and discounted counselling options are also available. Funding may be accessible through NDIS plans, Carers SA (Carer Gateway), and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Discounts are available for Pension card holders, DVA card holders, and children/adolescents (10-17 years old). Please inquire at the time of booking.

While Medicare Mental Health Care Plans do not currently cover counselling, you do not need a referral or Mental Health Care Plan to book a session. My session fees may be less than the Medicare gap for a psychologist, appointments are usually available within two weeks, and counselling sessions are not limited. If you do have a mental health care plan, I am happy to still see you . Contact me to discuss these options further or to book an appointment.
