I help women who feel like a ship in a storm hanging on waiting for the sun to come out. Ongoing strong negative emotions are a ball and chain that keep us stuck so we cannot move forward and reach our potential. When we live in chronic stress it slams the door shut of possibilities - as when in strong emotional states the rational part of our brain goes offline. I use both body and mind tools to help you start to take control of your responses and work to reclaim your life back. You can find your purpose, take steps towards solving problems and work towards achieving your goals.
By using EFT in therapy clients can access the power in their own body where most of the survival stress and trauma is stored. EFT sends a calming signal to the 'fire alarm' part of the brain and gently releases stress from the body. Cognitive therapies can access the mind but by also using EFT and other somatic tools the body is also brought into therapy.
I help walk with you safely and gently and with compassion. I use talk therapy with Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping). Sessions are non-judgmental and solution focused, and I provide tools you can carry with you and use at all times. We work collaboratively to address the issues that have become problematic so you can take back your life.

Susan helped in more ways than I could ever imagine. I had issues of anger, disappointment, sadness, depression, and anxiety in my former workplace as a disability support worker.
